Gabby got a haircut and highlights. The photos don't show the color very well, but it's really pretty. She hadn't planned to get it cut so short, but the woman cut it while it was wet and I guess didn't realize that curly hair shortens up when it's dry. When she came home from the appointment she was afraid to tell me how short it was, but it's cute. And so is she! [More]
The first one is The French Cupboard, which is like going to a French flea market without leaving home. It's set up so that there are many different vendors - you'll spend time looking through all the charming vintage, homemade and shabby chic items wanting to buy them all!
The second place is called Three Potato Four. It has tons of unique and useful items. You'll find something you love.
Here's Yahoo's list of 100 films you must see. I don't know what happens if you don't see them. Maybe you're hopelessly out of sync with inside jokes at parties. Or you don't get all the dumb movie lines and references that nerdy people like me make in conversation. Anyway, here's the list. I've highlighted in blue all the ones I've seen. I know, I know. I've never seen Titanic - but I don't feel bad about it, I haven't seen any of the Godfather movies either.
Here's Gabby Saturday a.m. (Photo taken with a cell phone) We all went to the local greasy spoon for breakfast. She got served first so we were all drooling over her delicious pancakes. She felt no qualms about eating in front of us!
I don't think I've posted this recipe before, but since we're getting down to Easter I thought I'd try to put up some recipes that you could make for an Easter celebration - but I'm telling you - avoid those pre-cooked hams!
So, it's been snowing here. I think that sucks. The sun has come out this afternoon - trying to cheer us all up and act like, "Hey, what's going on!" all perky like nothing happened, so we won't stay mad. I'm trying to hold a grudge, but it's hard to do that when I'm just so greatful for some light and warmth!
I forgot to tell you about this dream I had the other night . . . but first I must give you some disturbing back story.
A couple of years ago I bought this pre-cooked ham thing. I'd never cooked one before, but my mom said all you had to do was pop it in the oven with some pineapple blah, blah, blah and voila easy Sunday dinner. [More]
