Since I've just found this new home, of course the place is a wreck and I have some moving and unpacking still to do. It will be a few days before I've settled in and things feel like home again. I think it had something to do with greeting cards and jewelry manufacturers . . . But anyway, I'm just going to try to take the positive out of the situation, and hope all of you have some love in your life.  You know I care, right?!  So, to wish you a lovely Valentines Day, here's a little gift for you . . . a set of journal tags that you can use to make some last minute Valentine notes with, or just leave a little love note in your sweetie's lunchbox, or hey - even add it to a scrapbook layout!    These will eventually be in my store at Enchanted Studio Scraps . . . set to reopen this week! To participate you were asked to  " create a 4×6 scrapbook-style mini artwork containing a message of hope, joy or laughter for a school-age child and submit it by November 24, 2010. All formats – digital, paper and hybrid – are encouraged and accepted." It's a fun event to participate in, it's a great cause and that's all I was really concerned about.  They had a goal of creating 2000 cards - and I know they were over that amount, so I know they had a lot of participation, so I was delightfully surprised when I actually won a prize!! There were tons of incredible artwork that was submitted - some you can check out in their flickr group.

Then I recently received an email and I won a free online class from Renee Pearson - and wow I am so excited!  I had the choice of what class I would like to take, and I'm going to take the Illustrator 2 class with Laura Coyle . . . yay!  Can't wait to learn some new techniques and concepts!  The class begins in February so I'll try to show you some stuff that I get done during the class . . .

First - oh wow! A new store for Sugar Moon Designs! I'm sooo excited. My new shop is at Enchanted Studio Scraps. It's such a cool place and there are so many fantastic designers there - I know I'm just going to be so inspired and learn so much!!! I just opened the shop so you'll notice that my inventory is a little down, but have no fear I'm slowly repackaging everything and getting it up and ready to go! I also fell behind with creating new kits when I was so sick, so I can't wait to get back on track and get some new stuff out for you!! I have a kit in progress now that I think is going to be pretty cheerful and bright - perfect for a happy new year!  I've also reworked a couple of the "old" kits - I've got a new alpha in "Summer Camp" for instance, so you'll have to check them all out.  I also have a coupon up for 25% off everything in my store until January 31st. I have so many great ideas for the coming year - I just wish I had as much physical energy as I have mental energy - or maybe a whole team of clones who could keep working for me in shifts round the clock!
