Refrigerator Pickles

These are some easy pickles to make that don’t require any canning. My grandma used to make them all summer long as her cucumbers got ripe in the garden.

9 sliced cucumbers

5 Tablespoons Salt

Mix and let stand overnight

Add:

1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tbsp. Celery Seed

2 Cups Sugar

Stir to dissolve

Add 1 cup sliced Onion

Mix and store covered in fridge – eat as desired. You can keep these in glass jars, a plastic bowl with a lid or anything you have on hand.
