These are some easy pickles to make that don't require any canning. My grandma used to make them all summer long as her cucumbers got ripe in the garden.
9 sliced cucumbers
5 Tablespoons Salt
Mix and let stand overnight
Add:
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Celery Seed
2 Cups Sugar
Stir to dissolve
Add 1 cup sliced Onion
Mix and store covered in fridge - eat as desired. You can keep these in glass jars, a plastic bowl with a lid or anything you have on hand.
