I forgot all about this cool idea until I saw it again at Lemon Tree Creations. Her's are so gorgeous I think I'm gonna break out the parafin wax and make some for myself. I really love her leaf mobiles! (And her photos are so lovely!)

I bet you could think of lots of ways to display these leaves . . . I love this framed idea too!!! Anyway she has a great tutorial over there, go check it out!!!

Here's a few ideas I've seen around the web for updating your decor for fall.
The first ones are from Mad In Crafts - she has a fantastic tutorial for making these. (and a good warning - don't burn the fake leaves!!) She has lots more easy and lovely ideas on her blog, so check all of them out!

She shows you how to get a similar look from Pottery Barn inspired decor - so easy to do, and it looks so nice and would be a wonderful centerpiece! I just love all the things she does with leaves!

This next one would actually be awesome for Thanksgiving - or any harvest party! Jelly Bean Indian Corn! The tutorial to make it can be found at Kelley Highway. Wouldn't these be so awesome as party favors - or even tuck a card into each one and use them as a name card holder! I am so planning to make these for Thanksgiving!

I found this over at Executive Homemaker and I just love it! Each pebble inside the jar has something that we can take a few moments to enjoy and refresh our souls.

How many times a day do we pass up the chance to do the things we really love? I presume, with all the workload we have set out for ourselves, we sometimes barely have enough time for the important things. This inspired me to create a jar filled with ideas on how I would like my time to be spent. So every day, I take a dose (or more when I feel the need) of these inspiring pebbles.
Click on the photo above to head over there for a tutorial to make one for yourself. She also has a printable file with ideas of what to put on your pebbles . . .

I just happened to run across these two different ways to make your own flowers - they won't wilt and you can even give them as gifts!
The first one is no sew flowers from Made: A Creative Collection. These no sew flowers are so cute and I can think of a million variations of these that would be so cute. I'm putting them on my list to do this summer! Click on the link to get to the tutorial to make them yourself.

The other project - also going on my to do list - is this CUTE cork board with paper flower tacks. Oh. my. gosh. I find this so adorable! This idea and tutorial comes from Greenbean's Crafterole. Both of these projects are soooo easy! What are you waiting for!? Go get the glue gun!

I have seen some fabulous wreaths on the internet, and all of them you can make for yourself! Which one do you like best? I just can't decide!
This first wreath is made from paper - the tutorial to make it is at The Red Thread

Another really lovely paper wreath is from Razzle Dazzle Crafting - I love the texture on this one:

This charming rag wreath made from strips of fabric comes from Create Studio - this would look so cute with a rustic theme Christmas!

Instead of cloth, how about making a lovely wreath out of cranberries! So beautiful! There is a tutorial to make yourself one at The Idea Room

Another wreath that looks good enough to eat - BUT ISN"T! is this fun gumdrop wreath from A Pretty Cool life.

Here is another really fun and easy wreath from Better Homes and Gardening - this would be so easy to make, and it looks so adorable!

Lastly, one of my favorite ones - because my grandma used to have one of these and I always loved it, a Christmas bulb wreath. Eddie Ross shows you how to make this one and it's a lot more easy than it looks! His turned out just gorgeous!

I made these treat bag labels for my nieces and nephews and I thought you might like to use them to make some treat bags of your own.
Just click to download the free treat bag labels, print them out, (I recommend using cardstock, but paper will be fine, too) cut them out, fold and staple or tape onto plastic baggies or brown paper sacks filled with candy or other treat.
Your trick or treaters will appreciate that personal touch!

If you feel you 've decorated as much as possible for Halloween, but you need just a little something to give your house that extra "oomph" that will scare the pants off your visitors, take a tip from Mortica Addams and don't forget the houseplants!

Today is a grey and blustery day where I live. The winds have been howling and the trees are quivering in fear. Leaves are whirling and skittering madly - it feels like Halloween is nearing! Today, I am posting a dancing skeleton halloween decoration that came out of a 1970 children's magazine (Jack and Jill). If you click on each of the images you can download a pdf of each page. As the instructions say, print them out on cardstock, punch holes where indicated and attach all the body parts with brass brads or tabs so that the joints move and you can position your skeleton any way you like! While you are doing this you must sing,
"Dem bones, Dem bones, Dem dry bones!
Dem skeleton bones gonna walk around! [More]
