<p>Click on the program title to choose from a menu of episodes.</p>
<p><a href="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/innersanctum.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-467" title="innersanctum" src="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/innersanctum.jpg" alt="" /></a><span id="more-469"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.otr.net/?p=isan" target="_blank"><strong>Inner Sanctum</strong></a> was a radio program of mystery, terror and suspense. <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:DoNotOptimizeForBrowser /> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--> <span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Memorable episodes included "Terror by Night" (September 18, 1945) and an adaptation of "The Tell-Tale Heart" (August 3, 1941). The latter starred Boris Karloff, who was heard regularly in the first season, starring in more than 15 episodes and returning sporadically thereafter. Other established stars in the early years included Peter Lorre, Mary Astor, Helen Hayes, Claude Rains, Paul Lukas, Frank Sinatra and Orson Welles. </span></p>
<p><a href="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/scream.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-468" title="scream" src="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/scream.jpg" alt="" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.otr.net/?p=hant" target="_blank"><strong>The Haunting Hour </strong></a>(which is actually a haunted half-hour, but why get technical?)</p>
<p>"The shows are classic chills from the old school, with creepy organ, overwrought women and over the top men."  Sweet.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.otr.net/?p=sdwd" target="_blank"><strong>Strange Doctor Weird</strong></a></p>
<div id="attachment_470" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 284px"><a href="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/mtarplin.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-470" title="mtarplin" src="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/mtarplin-274x300.jpg" alt="Maurice Tarplin" width="274" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Maurice Tarplin the voice of Strange Dr. Weird</p></div>
<p><em>"Perhaps you’ll drop in on me again soon. I’m always home. Just look for the house on the other side of the cemetery... the house of Dr Weird!"</em></p>
<p>Maybe you'd like to "sink your teeth" into something a little meatier? You're in luck! There's the classic tale of a man and his monster!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.otr.net/?p=frkn" target="_blank"><strong>Frankenstein</strong></a></p>
<p><a href="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/frankenstein.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-471" title="frankenstein" src="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/frankenstein-229x300.jpg" alt="" width="229" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>And here's <a href="http://realitystudio.org/multimedia/" target="_blank">something wonderfully different</a> - William S. Burroughs reading "Annabel Lee" and "The Masque of the Red Death"</p>
<p><a href="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/william-s-burroughs.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-472" title="william-s-burroughs" src="http://b-moviestar.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/william-s-burroughs.jpg" alt="" width="141" height="195" /></a></p>
<p>Enjoy!</p>
